I LOVE OUR LIFE GROUP!!!

or as Jeanette would say, "We have the best Life Group, ever!" We had Life Group at San Martin Park tonight and it was so fun. Today, being the 2nd longest day of the year, allowed us to hang out at night with the sun still up. The kids played and we did our highs and lows. We did a condensed flow (only 2 questions!), and then hung out for awhile.

Our topic was feeling excluded and the inclusion we can have in God's family. So afterwards, I was talking to Amanda and Andrew about our monthly Bible study this Sunday, and we all decided to combine it with a trip to Nacho Libre! I just love that kind of stupid humor and I am so excited to go with fellow stupid humor afficiandos.

Then I approached April and Laurie who were busy making plans to get together on Saturday and they invited Tim and I to join them. That sounds like a ton of fun! I don't know if we'll be able to make it because we are celebrating our 14th (!!!) anniversary this weekend (which I forgot about on Tuesday, the actual day!

And just now I remembered that the Bambricks want to get to get together this Monday and catch up after not seeing each other FOREVER!!

Anyways, social calendar is booking up and it just reiterates to me how much I love Revolution, how cool it is to feel included and wanted. I love the friends we are making and hopefully we are making others feel wanted and included as well.

Father's Day

O.K. After yesterday, I am OFFICIALLY starting my diet!! But, omg, the enchiladas we made for father's day were UNBE-STINKIN-LIEVABLE. And extremely rich. Not for the calorie conscious. It was fun hanging with Jenny, Nicol and Lori and making dinner for the guys. (I'm not sure how that was special and different from any other day!)

For such great dads as Tim and the rest of them are, they deserve nothing less than 1000 calorie enchiladas, rice, beans, El Torito Mexican Caesar Salad, Pina Coladas, peanut butter-chocolate cookie pizza, chips and homeade salsa.

School's almost out!!!

I am so excited that school is winding down. Only 9 days left, but they're very short days as our subjects are finishing up.

I can't wait for sleeping in (more than I already do)!
hanging in our new and improved backyard

starting a brand new school year.

I cannot believe Chandler is going into the 6th grade!! and Regan is going into 5th. Last night I got out the old videos of them when they were 3 and 5. I swear it was like a week ago that they were those ages. What happened? At least I got to enjoy the time by being a full-time mom and now I'm homeschooling. Still... it goes too fast.

Spork

We had our church picnic "Spork" this weekend. It was a lot of fun to see people and just hang out. I love that we are making new friends and don't have to rely on certain people to feel welcome. We can just dive in and hang out with lots of people.
I do love this church - the feel and excitement and the people. Tim and I came home with a renewed appreciation for the gift this place has been to us.
