This story is amazing. Apparently a 12 year old girl got in trouble for her internet usage. So her single-dad father grounded her and did not allow her to go on a year-end class field trip.
Her mother urged her to SUE! The worst part of the story is that she WON! Fantastic, just what we harried and stressed parents need... lawyers breathing down our necks about our child-rearing methods.
I better not let my kids see this!

The minute I clicked the link I saw why the case even went to court - ITS CANADA!!!
Go figure. Another proof of all my rants about Canada. eh!
Ok, sure, the case could be brought here in the USA - but I doubt any court would allow it to continue.
all I have to say UGH! Give me a freakin' break. That mother will be SOOOOO sorry one day.
