I can hear you say that Southern California doesn't have fall.
Well, au contraire! I have officially switched to my fall bedding. I have flannel sheets on my bed. I'm wearing socks at night now.
It might be 90 degrees in the daytime. My pool may be warm and inviting. I may be wearing shorts... right now. But my bed tells me it is definitely fall.
Take that all you East Coast snobs with your sweaters, fall show of colors, cool days, fires in the fireplace, and temperatures below 90. We have fall here, too, you know!

EXACTLY! I was thinking just today as I was slipping into capris, a tank and flip flops about how nice it is to be a "California Girl" sun dressed during the day in Oct. and a down blanket at night. Life doesnt get much better. ;)
Michelle: I like your way of thinking! What fall means to me is all the leaves fall off my Elm Tree in the back yard and I'll be raking for months. I actually turned on my heater in the car a couple of mornings after taking Pat to work. It is cooler in the Mornings but gets up to 94 degrees in the afternoon. Kind of nutts but this is fall.....Uncle Kent
