As he is wont to do, my dad once again rescued me. When he heard about my laptop being stolen, he IMMEDIATELY ordered another one, exactly like the old but even a little better. He says we will work out some kind of deal - you know, I help him out with his photography a little and he spoils me rotten. I'll take that deal.
It arrived today, and I am having an easy time setting it up. Just a few more things to do. I lost a little data, but oh well... life goes on.

I WANT YOUR DAD! I don't even need a laptop. Your dad rocks and you are one blessed girl. Have fun with your new computer. On Sunday morning in Kids Church, we were talking about the 8th Commandment "You Shall Not Steal". I gave the kids different scenarios about stealing. One of them was a "finders keepers" one. I used your story from the hospital about your laptop. Of course the kids were more interested in Emma, but they saw that finders keepers really makes for some losers weepers and that really is stealing. So, I guess (??) your laptop was used for God's Glory (?!) maybe? hahaha love ya, Donna

Hooray for DAD!!! I'd do the same thing for my kids too if I could!
So maybe your laptop wasn't stolen... maybe it ran away after being dissed for being a PC and not a MAC!
