O.K., so I've been having an email ettiquette discussion with a friend. He feels you should not include the original message in a reply. I guess he thinks it clutters up the email. I however feel you should include the conversation threads so you can easily see all that has transpired in the past communications.
He found this Dilbert cartoon and decided to throw in the towel. I thought it was great!

And my take on this subject is that at this point in my life I don't even remember what the original content of my emails is about if more than 20 minutes goes by... so yes, I need the original message in the reply to remind myself what I was talking about in the first place!
