A FLASHFORWARD! It's never been done before (or has it?)!! So we would have never guessed. And Jack's father... alive...??? What the heck??? And Jack wants to go back???

What could make Jack want to go back so bad that he would contemplate suicide? Who was in the coffin? Ben? Locke?

I wonder if Juliet was in the coffin because Kate's response was like why would she want to go..and Jack was so upset placing his hand on the coffin crying....but then again, wouldn't Juliet's sister be there for her...unless she isn't really alive? Who knows. Now that I know it's the future I'm going to watch it again to catch more. I doubt if Ben or Locke left the island. Locke wouldn't be able to walk if he did and Ben has nothing off that island. Is Charlie really dead? or did he swim out...after all, he can hold his breath really long he said..the producers might just be telling us he died...I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

Kim, I totally agree with you. I thought it was Juliet too, but who knows. Why is Jack's dad still alive if it is a flashforward? I don't think Charlie's dead, because it didn't happen just like Desmond said. There was no "switch" to flip, and why didn't Desmond see Penny in his vision? Do you think Ben knew Naomi's people were bad, or did he make it up? I wonder who they really are, and what about the whole finding the wreckage and their dead bodies? Hmmmmm

My first guess was Ben in the coffin, but again like everyone else thinks, why would he leave the island unless he was forced to. Then my second guess was like Kim's... Juliette. But I couldn't remember if Kate referred to the person dying as "Why would I go to "that" funeral, "her" funeral, or "his' funeral. If she said "that" funeral then I think it is Juliette and maybe her sister isn't there cause she already passed away.
Garey guessed right as it happened that Charlie did not die. I an 99% sure they will bring him back next season. They would be crazy not to. It would be great TV if they did!
Ok, me and my kids are still twisting our brains on this. We re-watched the program. Kate did say "Why would I do to THAT funeral." So it could be a male of female in the coffin. Also, at the end when Kate and Jack were at the airport talking Jack said something I forgot and I know it has huge relevance to the questions... He said something like "We have to stop the lies, we made a mistake, we have to go back." I am twisting my brain to figure out what the LIES could be.
