Another thing I'd love to see before I die

The text says:
Brussels in bloom
The Carpet of Flowers in the Grand-Place, Brussels. Close to a million
begoinia flowers were used to create the 300 square meter carpet
this week. The pattern is based on a medieval carpet design.
Unbelievable!

What a phenominal waste of flowers... You know, if those flowers were allowed to grow naturally, they could contribute to scrubbing the carbon from the ozone and thus reduce the greenhouse effect.... oh, wait... I don't believe in that... nevermind...

Hey Michelle,
Found your blog! This is amazing. I forwarded this to my Mom, who is a flower freak and will probably be on the next plane to Brussels!
Have a great day! D
